The Arte Flamenco festival aims to be faithful to the tradition of pure flamenco, exploring the paths of modernity.

Its specificity lies in its double identity.

on the one hand, an international reach through the choice of prominent Spanish artists, the strong ties with Andalusia or the appeal of the festival beyond its borders.

on the other hand, a local and authentic anchorage.

Its objective is to transmit and promote flamenco and develop transversal artistic proposals: dance, music, singing, visual arts, literature.

The festival underlines the will of the Landes Departmental Council to support creation and promote culture as a factor of attractiveness of the territory.

Created in 1989 by the Landes Department at the initiative of Henri Emmanuelli, Arte Flamenco is the largest flamenco festival outside the Spanish borders.

It takes place in Mont-de-Marsan in July. The Flamenco Art Festival aims to be faithful to the tradition of pure flamenco, exploring the paths of modernity.
