What is Patchoum? This is the question posed by Jean-Claude, a depressed brain implant transplanter. With his sidekick Éloi, his mission this morning is to implant the brand new 3000 chip in the brain of Rosemonde, the mother of the President of the Republic. But Rosemonde, victim of an attack of eco-anxiety dementia, refuses. What is Patchoum? A new political force? This charred forest ghost wandering a world engulfed in flames? The song of the world? This is the story of an absurd word, a word that meant nothing and which was transformed into what sought to be said. Political satire exploring the issue of digital alienation and real action in the face of the environmental emergency, this play seeks where and how to find the courage necessary for a commitment to a livable world. Text and Direction: Paul Toucang and Léa Tissier Acting: Alys, Anna Fèvre, Emma Gennari, Stephen Morlet, Cyril Pacthod, Agathe Simon-Lecieux, Samuel Temey
