Concert Absynthium 1888

Absynthium is a musical duo composed of a guitar (Cy Williams) and a saxophone (Guillem Ferrer) that focuses its repertoire on impressionist music from the beginning of the 20th century. Authors such as Debussy, Satie, Ravel or Falla are the subject of an authentic and original reinterpretation using jazz and improvisation as a vehicle to take some of their most emblematic works on a journey. "Jazz de fin de siècle", in addition to a concert, is an educational show where, through a playful language using humor and careful staging, we will learn the historical and personal circumstances experienced by the artists and musicians of this historical period called the Belle Époque.
