Pop and Urban Culture Event: A transgenerational day in Mont-de-Marsan! On Saturday, December 7, for the very first time in Mont-de-Marsan, an event dedicated to popular culture will bring together all generations for a festive and creative day in the city center. Video games, cosplay, artistic workshops, conferences, and sports initiations will punctuate this unique celebration of the mixture of cultures. This event was designed to bring together children, grandparents and adults alike. Whether you are a manga fan, a video game enthusiast or simply want to discover new activities, this varied program will meet the expectations of all generations. Starting at 10 a.m., we are waiting for you alone, with family or friends to participate in this first edition of a transgenerational event that promises to become an unmissable event in Mont-de-Marsan! The Échiquiers Montois will also be there for exciting games where you can measure yourself against the best o Free • Video games and virtual reality Dive into the world of console video games and enjoy an immersive experience with the Oculus Rift virtual reality headset. o Free • Introduction to Hip-Hop Have you always wanted to learn a few dance moves? The Hopla association offers an introduction to hip-hop on the ground floor of the room. o Casual dress recommended | Free • Meeting with Heroic Fantasy authors For fans of fantasy literature, come and meet several Heroic Fantasy authors present on site. A great opportunity to chat with them and find out more about their world. • “Training” area with the 3iS Bordeaux School Do you dream of working in the film and audiovisual sector? Meet Cédric GRECH, educational manager at the 3iS Bordeaux school, to find out more about training and creative professions in the audiovisual sector. • Tattoo, sewing and makeup stands Want to leave with a unique souvenir? o Tattoos: Temporary or permanent tattoos, depending on your wishes (price depending on the model). o Sewing: Take part in a KAONASHI plush toy creation workshop (a faceless character from Japanese animation), led by Couture Kesaco. Cédric GRECH from the 3iS Bordeaux school will share his expertise. 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.: Conference "The History of Manga" Immerse yourself in the world of manga with Stéphane LEMIERE who will tell you the history of this popular genre from Japan. 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Introduction to skateboarding and rollerblading Whether you are a beginner or an expert, enjoy an introduction to skateboarding and rollerblading with Yann QUESTEL, ASAE coordinator. Equipment provided on site. 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Introduction to boxing therapy, fun fencing, and archery tag For sports and challenge lovers, try boxing therapy with Yann QUESTEL, as well as fun fencing and archery tag hosted by Rêve Ludique. 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Introductory comics drawing workshop Second session of the comics drawing workshop with Stéphane LEMIERE for those who missed it in the morning! • Registration recommended -here-. Material provided 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Cosplay competition The big cosplay competition is finally here! Come and parade through the streets of Mont-de-Marsan under the coordination of Serrafus Cosplay and Manga Dax and enjoy a lively musical atmosphere.
