The Domaine d'Espérance, located 1h30 from Bordeaux, in Gascony in the middle of the Grand Bas Armagnac, has always been used to produce Armagnac Somewhat neglected, Jean-Louis and Claire de Montesquiou bought the Domaine in 1990, in order to bring it back to life and develop the production of wines there initially, while the armagnac was aging in the old cellars and now mainly armagnac. The residence of the Domaine is a pretty 18th century chartreuse, completely renovated but which has kept the charm of yesteryear. Lovers of the region, they wanted to share the discovery of this region and the production of Armagnac, by creating a Gite for 4 people, on the Estate in an old farm, classified 4 ears - great comfort Gîtes de France-, which allows enthusiasts and neophytes to enjoy the region, to learn about local wine production or simply to live at their own pace, in a calm, natural and privileged environment.
