Torn from life, a tree, a branch, a trunk, mutilated by the winds, crushed by the torrents, turned over a thousand times by the waves, smashed on the rocks, permanently bruised, hollowed out, grated, worn, sanded by sand and salt, end their ordeal at the foot of the dunes, burned by the sun, and are reborn in the gaze of the walker who will know how to give them back their eternity.
