Friday evening program: ALEE & MOURAD MUSSET (from Rue Kétanou) BETWEEN REVOLT AND TENDERNESS, THEY DON'T CHOOSE! Find "Alee & Mourad Musset (from Rue Kétanou)" for a full concert, mixing humor, peaceful struggles, love and melancholy tinged with hope, between hip-hop phrasing and French song, between machines and guitars... on a panorama of songs revisited from the repertoire of Alee, Collectif 13, Rue Kétanou and some unreleased tracks! KOLINGA Rébecca M'Boungou, author and composer of the Kolinga project, is not unaware of the universal part of her life as a mixed-race person - so many upheavals, splendors, melancholies, pleasures or pains present in this century. Her sophisticated music instinctively moves, very carnally African and nourished by a thousand sources expertly questioned, the voice revealing the inner tumult of an artist barely thirty years old, become the soul of a collective of virtuosos. Kolinga recounts the journeys of the depths of the soul in French, English and Lingala on music that draws from pop, Congolese rumba, jazz, soul, chanson, hip hop... LES AMAZONES D'AFRIQUE Les Amazones d'Afrique is a creative force that embraces international voices; soft and strong harmonies that recall the rights of women and girls; and a collapse of the legacy and new talents of the generation. They were formed in Bamako, Mali, in 2014 by three Malian music stars and social change activists, Mamani Keita, Oumou Sangaré and Mariam Doumbia. The collective has since expanded to include numerous female artists from across Africa and the diaspora, including Angélique Kidjo, Nneka, and Rokia Koné. RADIO BYZANCE Inspired by the energy of Reggae-Dub Sound Systems, Radio Byzance draws on a mosaic of influences to produce a sound that spans genres and continents. Released in September 2020 by the ODGPROD label, their debut album, "Positive Wave," is being played on FIP and numerous radio stations. The trio's vocals and acoustic instruments are layered over electro productions, all remixed live. Sung in English or Spanish, the compositions also have their own "versions," which give pride of place to improvisations. Saturday night program: SPELIM "Dread pop" was born there, in the heart and suitcases of this bubbling artist, rich with more than 200 concerts across Europe in only 3 years, inspired and inspiring, creative, happy to live this life, quite simply... simple. And SIMPLE, that makes SPELIM. With his album In Art We Trust, SPELIM celebrates Art in all its forms and makes it the heart of his stage universe THE BONGO HOP At the end of 2016, a small UFO of the French world scene arrived from nowhere - in this case his adopted Colombia - thanks to a first remarkable album, Satingarona pt 1. The Bongo Hop, French trumpeter, composer and producer, had spent a life of wandering, questioning, traveling far from his bases, before trying his hand at music to create soundscapes of his own. As with this barrel of rum discovered in the bowels of an old galleon forgotten under the sonars, we discovered the complex aromas of a nectar that draws its powerful taste from many years of back and forth across the Atlantic. FAADA FREDDY After seven years of recording silence, Senegalese singer Faada Freddy releases a new album entitled "Golden Cages". With an organic approach, he mainly uses his voice, handclaps and body percussion. The album offers original tracks that reflect his critical and benevolent thinking, addressing themes such as the standardization of thought, the lack of reflection and dehumanization in today's society. SIKA RLION Originally from Reunion Island, Sika Rlion is the rising star of the new Afro-Reggae scene. She offers us a subtle blend of Trap, Afro, RnB sounds, sometimes tinged with Maloya, where French lyrics are combined with Creole. The one described as the voice of the new wave of Reunion Island brings a real breath of fresh air to the musical landscape, and opens us to a very promising scene. SUPA MANA Supa Mana has been immersed in reggae since childhood. She took her first steps on stage in 2009, a year during which she was a resident at numerous Parisian parties. Distilling a quality selection during each of her appearances, Supa Mana's live shows are true journeys through eras and styles. She also acts as one of the major players dedicated to highlighting the nuggets and rising stars of the French digital reggae scene.
