Saturday, September 20 - Crafts & Transhumance All day long, meet all the Museum's artisans, and many more, during numerous workshops and demonstrations. Come and discover the trades of basket maker, blacksmith, grinder, spinner, knitter, lace maker, weaver, felt maker, broom maker, wood craftsman, and many more. Practice in small workshops such as writing with a quill, weaving, traditional dances, Gascon bowling or even building a cob wall. Discover our temporary exhibition on the history of the John Deere brand through 1:16 scale models, in the presence of the collector/model maker who will host it for the occasion. From noon, the museum parking lot is transformed into a farmers' market, where you can create your meal with gourmet plates prepared by local producers. You can also buy quality local and artisanal products throughout the afternoon. During the afternoon, don't miss the arrival of the flock of sheep, which stops at the museum before heading to the village of Toujouse. At 7:30 p.m., a beef stew meal is organized by the Toujouse Culture and Heritage Association, led by the Hètz Beròi group. On the menu: melon/ham, beef stew and steamed potatoes, salad/cheese, croustade/ice cream, wine and coffee included. Prices: adult €18 | child €10. Reservations required before 09/16.
