Noël des Aficionados

The Cercle Taurin Montois (CTM) is organizing its first Christmas for Aficionados, a festive day of bullfighting activities from afternoon into evening, dedicated to sharing and passing on the passion for bullfighting. The aim of this event is to introduce young people to bullfighting culture and to bring the passion to life in the warm and friendly atmosphere of Christmas. From 3 pm to 6 pm, the CTM will welcome young aficionados for a Christmas filled with discoveries, free with registration. This afternoon will be made even more special by the exceptional presence of matador Juan Leal, who will accompany the children throughout the activities, available to chat, answer questions, and share his experiences as a bullfighter with the younger generation. On the program: – Bullfighting-themed pastry workshop – Banderille-making workshop – Special “Kids” bullfighting meet-and-greet with Juan Leal – Souvenir photo of a bullfighting moment at the CTM – And a Christmas snack to conclude the afternoon. At 7 p.m., a tertulia (informal gathering) will be held with the matador Juan Leal, who distinguished himself this season with a hero's welcome in Arles after cutting two ears from a Margé bull during the Rice Festival, as well as in Bayonne where he also earned two ears in the rain during the closing bullfight of the festival. The evening will be hosted by bullfighting journalist Miguel Darrieumerlou, in an atmosphere true to the spirit of bullfighting evenings. The evening will continue with a tapas dinner, at a price of €7 per person. Reservations are required before December 17, 2025.
