In a dystopia where a totalitarian regime stifles all creative expression and closes cultural venues, a group clandestinely infiltrates a film studio, transforming it into a haven of freedom: a space where poetry is reborn. Two narratives unfold on the set: that of Pedro, a 9-year-old Chilean boy in 1978, and that of Alicia, a 13-year-old French girl in 1986. This provides an opportunity to examine, through the eyes of children, the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet in order to better face the future… For this new two-part creation, which can be experienced in its entirety or partially without losing its meaning, Hervé Estebeteguy illustrates the journey of those who resist. All yearn to survive and for better days. True to his approach, as in his previous shows (Blanche, Lexique de nos grandes et petites résistances…), he subtly stages a joyful and endearing team to question the world and touch us deeply.
