Pond of Massy

The Massy site is made up of a pond that offers a wide variety of outdoor activities: fishing, marked hiking trails, orienteering courses and botanical trails.

Through these leisure activities, it is an opportunity to discover a rich natural heritage. The alternation of habitatst, passing quickly from swampy alder grouves to oak or chestnut groves, allows us to evolve in varied forest atmospheres. The pond sector is favorable to the observation of water birds: mallards, cormorants, or coots have taken up residence there.

The quick access frm the center of Gaillères as wall as the presence of picnic areas and a playground for children complete the offer of this preserved site which is the object of a redevelopment in the project of the Urban Natural Park of Marsan.
