Portes Ouvertes aux Jardins Familiaux

To mark the 30th anniversary of the allotment gardens, the Mont de Marsan Green Spaces Department is organizing an open house on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The morning's program includes a tour and history of the site, how it works, and registration procedures. Those wishing to rent a plot can register in anticipation of lease renewals in January. The morning will also be an opportunity to learn more about collective composting with the SITCOM du Marsan, and to benefit from advice on how to deal with tiger mosquitoes, for which the City offers assistance in purchasing trapping devices. Enabling the people of Mont de Marsan to grow a vegetable garden: Located in the heart of the Gouaillardet woods, the allotment gardens comprise 134 vegetable plots of 150 to 300 m² that the City of Mont de Marsan rents to residents for a low rent.
