Site of Castets

Forestland in Bougue
  • The site of Castets, developed since 2016 within the framework of the Urban Park of Marsan, allows us to discover a little known element of the historical heritage of the territory, the motte-and-bailey castle, earthen fortifications dating from the medieval period, built from the 10th century and often associated with the development of the feudal society. The facilities allow you to explore these mottes and to enjoy the richness of this natural wooded area.
