The Termes Tower

The Termes tower, immerse yourself in medieval history! Put on the historical costume of your choice to visit the medieval dungeon, and set off in search of the lives of our ancestors, as the devoted knights would have set out in search of the Grail. From the kitchen to the armory, from the bedroom to the banquet hall, including the artisans' village and the jousting stadium at the foot of the Tower. At the very top of the Tower, enjoy an exceptional panorama of the Adour valley and the Pyrenees mountain range. An orientation table will help you find your way. To visit next to the Tower: the church housing an 18th century altarpiece classified as a Historic Monument and the hiking trail linking the Tower to the Monterran castle motte (medieval site from the early Middle Ages). Numerous activities in summer and events including chivalry tournaments, dramatized visits, medieval workshops and medieval festivals on the first weekend of August.
