An enveloping and delicate pop odyssey, each Voyou concert offers closeness and contagious joy. Voyou's new album, entitled Les Kingdoms Minuscules, can be listened to as if the music had arms and enveloped us in its skin, like a friend or a warm animal. The 11 tracks on the album each have a story and a body. They were entirely composed, written and arranged by Voyou himself. Thibaud Vanhooland, an artist from the north of France, played brass at the conservatory and in a harmonic orchestra. He initiated his first musical project in 2019, with the album Les bruits de la ville. The latter earned him a major tour in France and abroad, including a complete Cigale. He is also found in composition or arrangement for other artists: Yelle, Melissa Lavaux, etc. The artist's multiple travels and encounters give the record a palpable warmth. In the style of South American music, in which Voyou likes to immerse himself on a daily basis, the album Les Régions Minuscules is overflowing with soul. The album is described as an enveloping and delicate pop odyssey, where each instrument seems to have an expressive face. This project creates an impression of closeness, joy and modesty.
