Meeting at 6 p.m.: Passionate and keen on local history, Patrice Larrosa shares with you the incredible story of the Landes race. Fabrice Lafourcade, author of Gagner la foule, will also be present in the company of the four-time French champion of écarteurs, Loïc Lapoudge. Both will exhume memories of arenas, dotted with joys, injuries and disillusionments. Screening at 8 p.m.: De Nueit ("at night" in Gascon), a short film released in 2021, offers a poetic look at the Landes race. Laurent Diéras explores the memories and myths surrounding this sport, while offering a meditation on memory and time.
