St Perdon remains a village in direct connection with the forest since it now has on its soil one of the most modern sawmills in the region.

Saint Perdon|
The Saint-Orens district is isolated from the village of Saint-Perdon. It is located south of Midouze.
The chapel, built in the 11th century, has a bell tower and is decorated with a superb fresco by Claude Becq, a local painter. Its bells date from 1644. It is surrounded by a wall which delimits an enclosure, where some tombstones are still visible.
It is a place of passage for pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela.
