I've been painting since I retired. The desire to paint and draw has always intrigued me, but I lacked the time… During a work holiday, I happened to pass through a village where a pastel festival was taking place, featuring an exhibition of master pastel artists. I've been painting since I retired. The desire to paint and draw has always intrigued me, but I lacked the time… During a work holiday, I happened to pass through a village where a pastel festival was taking place, featuring an exhibition of master pastel artists. As soon as I saw some of the works, I knew what I wanted to do in retirement. And since my motto is "where there's a will, there's a way," I joined the "Les Ateliers Créatifs" association in Mont-de-Marsan. There, I mainly learned water-based media such as watercolor, walnut stain, India ink, gouache, and acrylic. As for oil painting and especially pastels, my teacher was Google and its tutorials. Humans and animals are the key themes in my paintings.
