La Classe, l'Oeuvre

For the "Class, the Artwork!"* 2026 project, the Museum Gallery is opening its doors to a new collection: creations made by first-grade students from the Argenté school and first/second-grade students from the Bougue school. Through museum visits and classroom sessions, the students worked with a selection of sculptures from the museum's collection. From the initial session to discover and admire the works, through workshops to imagine, create, and reinterpret the pieces by Robert Wlérick and Christophe Charbonnel, the students explored the concepts of movement in sculpture and the model. The connection forged over the months between the classes and the museum has led to the creation of an exhibition conceived entirely by the students.
