Born in 1989 in Timișoara, in Romania during the collapse of the Soviet bloc, this author, director, and filmmaker explores in his play a childhood and adolescence punctuated by competitive ballroom dancing. On stage, alongside a couple of internationally renowned professional dancers, he interweaves family memories and archives with images of competitions, navigating between glamour and performance, kitsch and the pride of the winners.
